Swimming Under the Stars.
One last refresh before the holidays.
Before calendars fill with celebrations and travel, make room to revisit the swimming skills and water-safety habits your swimmer has been working on. Our final session of the year runs November 2–19, 2026, and requires a commitment to the full three-week session.

Swimming Under the Stars is Swim Synergy’s final session of 2026.
Holiday refreshers
Ask our team about a refresher that fits your swimmer’s current skills and your family’s plans.
A thoughtful way to finish the swimming year
The holidays have a way of changing the routine. Lessons give way to school events, family visits, and travel. Swimming Under the Stars offers a chance to put swimming back on the calendar before that seasonal shift.
This final session is an invitation to reconnect with learning. It is a time to discuss what feels familiar, what could use another look, and what your swimmer’s next steps might be. A refresher does not need to be about doing something dramatic. Giving familiar skills deliberate attention can be a meaningful goal in itself.
Whether your family is staying in North County San Diego or preparing for a holiday trip, start with a conversation about your swimmer today. Our team can help you explore the current session options.
What does a holiday refresher mean for your swimmer?
A useful refresher begins with the individual. Some swimmers may be returning after time away. Others may want to revisit skills they have practiced throughout the year. The right focus depends on current abilities, comfort, and the guidance of their Drowning Prevention Specialist.
Reconnect with the routine
Share how long it has been since the last lesson and how your swimmer feels about returning. Ask what the first visit will involve.
Revisit the next step
Bring up the feedback from previous lessons. Ask which skills deserve attention now and how progress will be communicated.
Swim Synergy’s instructors are Swim Synergy Certified Drowning Prevention Specialists. Tell them about any changes since your swimmer’s last session, including what has felt easier or more challenging around water.
Make the conversation specific
Instead of simply saying “we need a refresher,” give the team a little context. Useful details include the swimmer’s age, previous lesson experience, time since the last lesson, and any upcoming plans involving water.
- Returning after a break? Share what your swimmer practiced previously and what feels uncertain now.
- Working toward a skill? Describe it in everyday language and ask what an appropriate next step might be.
- Planning holiday travel? Explain the setting you expect to visit without assuming pool lessons prepare someone for every water environment.
A refresher is a learning opportunity, not a guarantee of a particular result before a trip. Ask about realistic goals for your swimmer and the available schedule.

Holiday plans can include water—even in November
A hotel pool, a relative’s backyard, or a warm-weather getaway can make swimming part of the holiday season. Before a visit, think about more than packing a swimsuit. Ask about access to water, the setting, and how your family will manage supervision.
Lessons do not make a swimmer drown-proof or replace close adult supervision and barriers that prevent unsupervised access to water. Keep expectations tied to what your swimmer can currently do, and do not treat a completed session as permission to relax precautions.
For family guidance, the American Academy of Pediatrics explains the role of swim lessons within water safety. If your holiday involves a different environment, discuss that with your Drowning Prevention Specialist before the trip.
Plan your final session before the calendar fills
For families in Encinitas, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, and nearby communities, November can bring a lot of competing commitments. Swimming Under the Stars is a full three-week commitment. Plan to attend your scheduled lessons throughout November 2–19.
- Commit to the full session. Before registering, make sure you can attend your scheduled lessons across all three weeks, November 2–19.
- Confirm the details. Ask about available lesson times, assigned location, tuition, and attendance or cancellation policies.
- Share your goal. Explain what you hope to revisit so the team can discuss the right starting point.
- Get arrival instructions. Confirm what to bring and where to go before your first visit.
Registration is for the full three-week session, November 2–19—not individual drop-in dates. Confirm your assigned lesson schedule and location with Swim Synergy before registering.
